This is incredible! Ashton Kutcher on Twitter on Friday, April 1, after he joked about her and her song “That Don’t Impress Me Much” on his new Netflix series, The Ranch.
On the first episode of the new comedy, the 38-year-old actor’s character, Colt Bennett, joked about meeting the Canadian singer, 50, while playing football in Saskatoon. He told his family that he slid “balls head first into Miss Shania” before showing her his “Twain.”
Kutcher took to Twitter after the series’ debut on Friday, to apologize to Twain for any hard feelings.
“Apologies again, Miss @ShaniaTwain. I had no inhibitions, made no conditions and definitely got out of line,” he wrote, quoting her hit “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”
Twain immediately took note of the clever tweet, to which she replied with lyrics from her song “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?”
“Next time you’re lonely, don’t call on me,” she wrote. “Try the operator, maybe she’ll be free.”
The epic Twitter exchange ended with Kutcher referencing “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” joking, “Note to self: Shania Twain... not easily impressed.”
